About Daniel Kirkpatrick, Instructor & Examiner
Daniel Kirkpatrick is an experienced CASA flight examiner and flight instructor based at Jandakot Airport in Perth. Through Elevate Aviation, he provides independent flight tests, proficiency checks, flight reviews and specialist aviation training for pilots, operators and flight training organisations across Australia.
Daniel is an aeroplane and helicopter instructor whose experience includes aeromedical flying with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, multi-crew turboprop and jet operations, and extensive check and training work in aircraft and full-motion flight simulators. His career has taken him throughout Australia and overseas, including the United Kingdom, Fiji and South Africa.
He has also held senior aviation leadership positions, including Head of Training and Checking and Head of Operations. This experience gives Daniel a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, operational standards and the pressures pilots can face when preparing for an assessment.
Daniel’s approach is calm, fair and professional. He provides clear information before each assessment so candidates understand the requirements, know what to expect and can arrive feeling prepared.
